In my short career so far, I often find myself clicking a lot of pictures of people just looking at things. Until recently, I thought it’s the classic candid look any budding photographer seems to click in their nascent stages of understanding photography. As I dug deeper into this, I found that the knack of catching people staring at things was rather a reflection of myself caught in the moment. I guess this makes these images, in contemporary terms, more of a “selfie” than a candid shot.
