The Rain

We cannot stop the rain. It only does what it knows Heavy clouds can not contain Its fears and its woes It’s makes us feel shaky Sometimes sickly and cold Numb without feeling A body full of bones What an awful way to feel Especially when alone No where to seek refuge Too far away from home But what is for certain, The way it always goes The rain will always stop And give way to rainbows For every storm passes Nothing stays the same Just remember an umbrella For when it comes again
