Ever since I've been studying to be a therapist, I have read very little for pleasure. Especially fiction. I missed getting so lost in a book that I can't put it down and want to read it with meals too. I missed the joy of reading. It was this book, that brought this feeling back after YEARS.

This brilliant work of fiction is one of the few books I've read in the last year that I just couldn't get enough of. I ended up in tears at the end, wanting to hug Eleanor, not wanting to leave her world.

A modern take on #loneliness, connection and #kindness, this beautiful read takes us into a lived experience of psychological distress in the gentlest, most loving way. Anything I say about this book will probably ruin it. So let me just say this - it's delightful, you will relish every page and stay up till the wee hours to finish it. It's also based in my beloved #Glasgow, I spent a lot of time in this city and working within the systems described in this book, so it really hit home.

There's a lot more I'd like to write, but I really don't want to give you any spoilers. Go on, put it on your reading list! It'll be one of the best choices you make in a while. I promise. Comment below with your thoughts on this delightful read?
